This program is for Seniors (Age 65 and Older) ONLY!
You may participate in the Senior Curbside program OR the Drop Off Program, not both.
Please Note: In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we will NOT be issuing stickers or
coupons.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Participants:
If you have registered for this program in previous years, you are not required to prove your
eligibility or place of residence again. To have your goods picked up, please either call the office
at 908-369-4313, prompt 6 OR email
PICKUP DATES:
Hillsborough Township is divided into 4 sections of town.
Each section of town is a different week. Pickups for each section occur throughout the
week (Monday through Friday).
You will be informed of your section of town at the time of registration.
Refer to the map to determine your section.
Monday, March 31 - NORTHWEST SECTION (North West of Rt 206 and Amwell Road)
Monday, April 7 - SOUTHWEST SECTION (South West of Rt 206 and Amwell Road)
Monday, April 14 - NORTHEAST SECTION (North East of Rt 206 and Amwell Road)
Monday, April 21 - SOUTHEAST SECTION (South East of Rt 206 and Amwell Road)
SENIOR CURBSIDE PICKUP RULES & REGULATIONS:
Senior Residents MUST be 65 years of age and older.
Senior Residents MUST present Proof of Residency (Driver’s License will do).
NO Stickers or Coupons will be issued.
Ten (10) Items Maximum (Boxed or Bundled Items Count as One) can be put out along with a
manageable amount of brush.
Branches cannot be more than 6’ in length and the cut ends should be facing the curb. The pile
should not be larger than 15’ long x 5’ high x 6’ wide.
IMPORTANT:
To ensure the safe and sanitary disposal, all Mattresses and Box Springs set out for pickup must be
enclosed in a sealed plastic bag.
This requirement helps prevent the spread of contaminants and protects our waste collection workers.
Mattresses and Box Springs without proper covering will not be collected.
The DPW thanks you for your cooperation in maintaining a clean and safe community.
Items must be at the curb by 7:00 am on the Monday of your assigned section.
Pickup Routes run throughout the week.
Once we have picked up your items, your participation in the program is concluded for the
year.
Any items added to Your Pile Become Your Responsibility (Watch Your Pile).
EXCLUDED ITEMS:
The following items will not be picked up. Do not leave these items at the curb.
HAZARDOUS/TOXIC MATERIALS (PESTICIDES/CHEMICALS/HERBICIDES)
PAINT
NO FLOURESCENT TUBES AND NO COMPACT FLOURESCENT LIGHTS
MOTOR OIL
BATTERIES/TIRES/VEHICLE PARTS
PROPANE TANKS
CONCRETE/BLACKTOP/BRICKS/PAVERS
TREE STUMPS OR LOGS OVER 4 INCHES IN DIAMETER
RECYCLABLES (CARDBOARD/ PLASTIC/ ELECTRONICS, ETC.)
LUMBER OVER 6 FEET LONG AND NO RENOVATION MATERIALS
ELECTRONICS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED (FAXES/TVs/COMPUTERS/MONITORS, ETC.)
FREON MUST BE REMOVED FROM ALL APPLIANCES
