2024 Halloween Events Open for Registration
The Hillsborough Parks & Recreation is brewing up a cauldron of Halloween fun this year, with spooktacular events for everyone!
Which wickedly fun program will you be joining?
- On Thursday, October 24th, from 3:30-5:30P M at Norz Hill Farm we will be hosting our 10th annual Children's Halloween Party. This event is $12.00 per child. All registered children can go on a hayride, receive a pumpkin from the patch, walk through the kids' bale maze, and get a goodie bag!!! Pre-registration is required. Click HERE to register today.
- On Saturday, October 26th, starting at 8:30 AM the 9th annual dog "Howl-O-Ween" Parade and Costume Contest will take place at Ann Van Middlesworth Park. During this event families and pets will be able to gather in the dog park while our Hillsborough Girl Scouts rank the costumes and select prize winners such as best costume, best group costume and much more! All prizes are donated from local businesses and this is sure to be a great event! No pre-registration is required! Back again this year is our Trunk or Treat at the Willow Road Complex!
- The Trunk or Treat event will take place on Saturday, October 26th, from 1:30-2:30 PM. This is an excellent option for young trick-or-treaters. Families provide a decorated "Trunk/Vehicle" along with peanut-free candy to hand out to the Trunk or Treaters and all children associated with that "Trunk" can "Treat" for FREE. Pre-registration is required. All Trunk or Treaters will also be able to vote for the "Best Trunk Award" so get creative. Pre-registration is required. Click HERE to register today.
- Also, returning this year is our ‘Go Green for Halloween’ costume exchange. Drop off gently used Halloween costumes between September 23rd - 26th from 8 am - 4:30 pm at the Parks & Recreation office. Then come back on Friday, September 27th between 8 am - 4:30 pm or Saturday, September 28th between 9 am - 11 am to pick up your “new to you” costumes. Boo to you from The Parks and Recreation Crew!
