Annual Reassessment Inspections to Begin

Next month, the Assessor's office will start residential inspections as part of the annual reassessment program. The Assessor's office performs inspections on one-fifth of the township each year. Each inspector drives a township-marked vehicle and wears a township ID. If it’s not possible to let an inspector in when they are in your area, they will leave a note for you to call the office to schedule an appointment for the interior inspection at 908-369-8077.  Feel free to call the Assessor’s office at 908-369-8077 to confirm your inspector’s name. Inspections are important because they confirm the amenities and condition of the home. If no inspection is performed, amenities and home conditions will be estimated.
