Raffle Licenses Required for All Raffles Including 50/50s

The State of New Jersey requires a raffle license for any organization wishing to host a raffle or bingo event. Important: This includes 50/50 raffles at sporting events

Everyone wishing to host such an event is encouraged to download and print the application packet from the Hillsborough Township website. Each packet contains a checklist, the application, and a request for background information from the police department. Applications that are incomplete or missing required documents—including a current copy of your state registration—will be denied.
