What times are allowed for trash pickup and landscaping companies to work?

1. Trash and Recycling Pickup Hours

According to Ordinance 255-24 (Solid Waste Collection Service Hours), garbage trucks and disposal services are subject to the following time limits:

• Allowed Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Restriction: Solid waste collection providers cannot operate within the town before 5:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m.

2. Landscaping, Maintenance, and Roadwork Hours

For landscaping companies, utility crews, and maintenance operations impacting Township roadways, the rules fall under § 259-21 (Hours):

• Standard Allowed Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Restriction: No construction, maintenance operations, or utility work is permitted on any roadway before 9:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m.

• Exceptions: This time limit may be adjusted to permit work earlier or later, but only with prior approval from the Chief of Police and/or the Director of Public Works.
