Frozen Pipes

Don't wait till it is too late to start winterizing your home. When water inside pipes freeze, it causes pressure inside the pipe, and when the pressure gets too high, the pipe ruptures. Insulating pipes in crawl spaces to create warmth is something to consider. If you are planning on leaving for an extended period of time, do not shut your heat off completely.
