Halloween Festivities Abound in Hillsborough

Township announces Children’s Halloween Party, Howl-O-Ween, and Trunk or Treat events
“Hillsborough Township’s Parks and Recreation Department has no shortage of family-friendly Halloween events this fall,” announced Mayor John Ciccarelli at the September 25th Township Committee meeting.
The Children’s Halloween Party at Norz Farm will take place on Thursday, October 23rd, at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $12.00 per child, which includes a walk through the children's bale maze, hayride to the pumpkin patch, and much more! Pre-registration is required on the Parks & Recreation website.
Furry family members aren’t exempt from Halloween festivities. The annual Howl-O-Ween dog parade is taking place at Ann Van Middlesworth Park on Saturday, October 25th. Registration for costumed canines will begin at 8:30, and the parade will commence at 9 a.m.
Another time-honored Hillsborough Halloween tradition is the annual Trunk or Treat at the Willow Road Complex, also on October 25th, where young ghosts, superheroes, witches, and princesses will kick off the holiday early and collect candy from decorated car trunks. Trunk or treat begins at 1:30 pm, and prizes will be awarded for Best Trunk. Pre-registration is required on the Parks & Recreation website.
“The Parks & Recreation team is excited to bring the community together this Fall with a lineup of family-friendly Halloween events,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Griffin Dunne. “From the Children's Halloween party at Norz Hill Farm to the always popular Howl-o-ween, and the festive Trunk or Treat, there's something for everyone to enjoy.”
