Hillsborough Township Continues to Receive High Marks as a Top Location to Live and Raise a Family in New Jersey
Out of the 564 municipalities in New Jersey, Hillsborough remains one of the Top 100 places to live and raise a family in our state, according to ranking site Niche.com.
With an overall Niche.com score of A+, Hillsborough received a plethora of high rankings in the state, including A+ for public schools, A+ as “Good for Families,” and A- in diversity. Hillsborough also achieved A’s in outdoor activities and health and fitness, with B’s in housing, crime, and safety.
Out of 637 markets in New Jersey, Hillsborough ranks 43rd in “Best Places to Buy a House in New Jersey” and 65th out of 570 school districts.
“Hillsborough is proud of our diverse community,” said Mayor John Ciccarelli at the May 13th Township Committee meeting. “That we continue to receive high marks in quality of life, public schools, and low crime is a testament to our teachers, police department, township staff, business owners, and residents who bring ‘pride of ownership,’ to new levels.”
