Pool Requirements

If your pool can hold more than 24 inches of water, the answer is YES, you need a permit! Pools have specific installation requirements. These requirements are intended to protect against potential drowning and near-drowning by restricting access to the pool. Seasonal pools may be temporary, but they can pose a life safety issue if the barrier requirements are not properly met.
