The Planning & Zoning Department wants business owners to make sure that before investing in any temporary signage for your business, you are checking the township sign ordinance for clarification on what is permitted versus the type of sign that might need permits. Hillsborough wants to make sure that that signs are appropriately placed and that roads and sidewalks are clear of any obstructions to protect drivers, pedestrians, and property owners.
