If you are interested in registering for a program or sports league click on the "Register for Activities" button below. This will take you to our Communitypass online registration system. Simply create an account if you do not have one. If you already have a Community Pass account with another organization (school, town, etc) you don't need to create a new one.

If you are registering for one of our sports leagues you will hear from your child's volunteer coach prior to the season. Sometimes our instructors will email participants prior to the start of the program. Take note of dates, times and locations that are available on the seasonal activity guide. These can be found on our website or by clicking HERE.

You or your child are on the waitlist because:

1. You registered after the deadline.
2. The program has already hit max capacity.
3. Sports teams need to be balanced. After the deadline has passed and our uniform order is placed we need to make sure we have a uniform in your child's size.
4. You are an out of town resident and we are offering the program to in town residents first.

   We do our best to release as many people as possible from waitlists. Continue to check your email as that is how you will be notified if a spot opens up.

Once the deadline passes, our program coordinators immediately begin reserving facilities, staffing, scheduling, and ordering uniforms and or equipment for the program. Late registrations can alter aspects of the programs setup.

No, however we can add an out of town fee for non-residents on programs. In addition, for certain programs we allow in-town residents an opportunity to register prior to out of town.

Requests to use space at schools are submitted to The Hillsborough Board of Education. The BOE determines if the facility is available. All school related functions are scheduled prior to recreation programs. There are no programs at BOE facilities when schools are closed, on half days or if the school is closed or dismissed early for inclement weather.

There are multiple factors which are considered prior to a field closing. Player safety is our first priority. Field closures are based on several factors, including:

1. Weather conditions - Past, current, and forecasted weather can all impact whether a field is safe and playable.
2. Field conditions and use - The type of field, how it will be used, and its history -including drainage, recovery time, and previous damage - are considered when determining playability.

   All of these factors are taken into account when assessing the overall condition of a field. With more than 5,000 participants each year, it is important that we protect our fields so they remain safe and playable not only for current programs, but also for future seasons and participants across all of our sports.

In the event of unexpected rain after the fields have been deemed open, it is up to each individual sports organization to use their best judgement and decide whether or not to cancel a scheduled practice or game.

1) You or the player/coach you had requested registered after the deadline or the team is at max capacity. 2) The coach you requested has more requests than available slots on his/her roster - In these circumstances, requests are honored in order of registration date.

Practices are determined by the volunteer head coaches availability as well as the facilities availability.

The purpose of evaluations is to disperse talent evenly throughout all the teams. **No player/coach requests are allowed for these leagues.**

Volunteer coaches are responsible to attend the Rutgers Safety Clinic (good for life), submit a background check online (good for 3 years) and submit a Hold Harmless form. Visit the Volunteer Coaches page on the Parks & Rec page for further details.

In order to rent a pavilion you would need to fill out our pavilion request form that is located on our home page. Requests are granted on a first come, first serve basis.
